2002 www.nicap.org/waves/2002fullrep.htm

Jan. 31, 2002 -  A senior INS Border Patrol officer and his dog witnessed a disc-shaped object very quickly pass over their patrol vehicle at 5:30 a.m. in the desert near Jacumba, San Diego county, California. A warbling sound emanated from the object, which the dog reacted to.  Seconds later, a dozen more discs are witnessed flying to the east with a delta-shaped object in their midst, then fly off to the west. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle; Larry Hatch, U computer database, case # 18183, citing Filer's Files, Volume 2, Number 7).

May 5, 2002 - A disc-shaped object hovered at a low altitude near the town of Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England at three o'clock in the morning. It had erratic flashing multi-colored lights. It spun, and rocked slowly back-and-forth. Two small white lights moved outward from it, and remained separate for almost an hour. The UFO departed toward the south. (Source:UFO Magazine (USA), August 2002, p. 19, citing Filer's Files).

Jun. 7, 2002 - Another daylight disc sighting occurred at 11:45 a.m. in Chatsworth, Los Angeles County, California. It was a large, round domed disc that was seen briefly. It was also described as very shiny with little black jets, and had a small dome on top. The object  was rotating at the time, and made no sound at all.(Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, June 2002 webpage).

Jul. 7, 2002 - A disc-shaped UFO appeared on a digital photo of some scenery taken at 11:45 a.m. on Cabin Lake Road, northeast of Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. The photo is evaluated as not a hoax. (Source: Jasek Martin, UFOBC; Geoff Dittman, Canadian UFO Survey 2002, case # 352, citing UFOBC).

Jan. 31, 1993; east of Columbus, WS
8:10 PM. A farmer in Dodge County east of Columbus had a close encounter with a large flat disc-shaped object with a dome on top. It illuminated the farm with light beams that faded and intensified. Sheriff deputies then chased the UFO for 20 miles. (Source: UFO Newspaper Clipping Service, February 1993).

Feb. 9, 1993; Colebrook, NH
7:25 PM. A young boy went outside saw a disc-shaped object approaching from the northeast. He went and got his stepfather, and both of them witnessed two hovering discs. The discs appeared to be the size of a house, about four feet apart, and only 50 feet in altitude. They seemed to have a pink glow on the far sides. These lights blinked, and then both discs disappeared. (Sources: Sandra Black, MUFON Field Investigation case files, case 930604J; MUFON UFO Journal, October 1993).

Time not given. A 20-year-old woman was standing on her back porch when a silent, multicolored domed disc "glided over the house" at an estimated 150 feet altitude. She first thought it was a low flying plane, but dismissed that idea because of the shape of the object. The dome on the disc was as tall as the width of the object. The object was covered in bright white flashing lights. Jets soon showed up, apparently to chase the object. (Source: Herbert S. Taylor, MUFON field investigations database, case 930402J; MUFON UFO Journal, February 1994).

March 29, 1993; Princeton, IN
11:30 PM. A close encounter with a domed disc was phoned in to the UFO Filter Center at Mt. Vernon. The witness never filled out the forms but the Notice of Initial Report stated the incident occurred between Haubstadt & Princeton, was reported to the Indiana State Police, and involved an object described as a domed disc about 50' above the ground, about 100 yards away, and one row of lights at the dome and three lights on the bottom  Object hovered, then moved. No sound reported. (MUFON Indiana, Ridge files).

Jan. 8, 1984; outside Cozad, NE
3:15 AM. CST. On Interstate 80 three people driving in a van outside Cozad saw a 100-foot diameter disc hover 80 feet over the highway. It was blazingly brilliant and had more than 15 colored circular lights around the rim. They heard an intermittent beeping on the van's CB radio. (Source: International UFO Reporter, March 1984, p. 10).

Feb. 3, 1984; Tingsryd, Sweden
1:00 AM. Mr. Jonsson was driving home when he saw a disc-shaped object 80 meters across and some 5-10 meters above the road ahead of him. He got to his home, got his camera, and went back to the site of his encounter. His car stalled, and he recalled seeing several beings who attempted to abduct him. He had nearly two hours of missing time. An independent witness verified seeing the UFO. (Sources: Doris Graziano, APRO Bulletin, June 1985, p. 8; Thomas E. June 4, 1975; Holland, Manitoba, Canada
7:40 a.m. Henry Francois while driving east on a municipal road 1 mile south and 1/4 of mile west of the junction of P.T.H. #34 and 2, he observed an oval disc shaped object with a very brilliant light close to the top and center. The object was approximately 30 feet in diameter and 10 feet in height. The light was a brilliant silvery color and was going on and off at an interval of approximately one second. The object was sitting at approximately 2 feet from the ground and in the center of a municipal road. Francois sighted the object for approximately 2 minutes and then turned south on P.T.H #34 and stopped at Henry Sawatzky's residence and ask Mrs. Sawatzky to witness the sighting. an.11, 1966; Myerstown, PA
7:40 p.m. EST. About 140 miles west-southwest of Wanaque, N.J., in the vicinity of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a nurse and others together in a car saw a luminous disc, like one saucer inverted on top of another, at relatively close range as it hovered above the car. After about 5 minutes, the object suddenly accelerated and sped away. (Hynek, 1972, pp. 89-90, 238.)

March 14, 1966; Dexter and Hillsdale, MI
3:30-5:30 a.m. CST.  For about 2 hours, police officers, including Washtenaw County sheriffs deputies, reported highly maneuverable disc-shaped UFOs with flashing red and green lights. Selfridge AFB reported tracking UFOs on radar over Lake Erie. (Hall, 2001 , pp. 184-86; U.F.O. Investigator, Vol. Ill, No. 7, Mar.-Apr. 1966, p. 5).

March 29, 1966; London, Ontario, Canada
11:15 p.m. EST. A bright saucer-shaped (disc) object with central dome and two protuberances (projections) on one side was seen hovering above Westminster Hospital for about 5 minutes. The object then flipped on edge, blue flame was emitted from the protuberances, and it rose into the clouds leaving a comet-like trail. An independent witness confirmed the sighting. (Flying Saucer Review, Vol. 12, No. 4, July-August 1966, P. 31.)

Aug. 15, 1966; Wood Green, London, England
2:00 a.m. LT. A couple saw an intensely bright glowing disc approach and hover about 1 50 yards from their house above an old tree. After a short time two smaller brightly luminous discs emerged from the larger object and took up positions alongside. They them emitted two bright white conical light beams that illuminated the ground and surrounding terrain so brilliantly that the man was able to read the time on his watch (2:10 am). Next the two smaller discs extinguished their lights and re-entered the parent-object, which tilted slightly and moved slowly towards the house. A humming and/or jet-like sound could be heard as the object passed over the house, now appearing pear-shaped. Revolving colored lights were visible on the underside. Next morning the man had a rash resembling sunburn on his face, and he and his wife both had headaches and sore necks. Some apparent damage to foliage, circular holes in the ground, and a large depression with flattened grass were found beneath the area where the object had hovered. (Flying Saucer Review, Vol. 12, No. 6, Nov.-Dec. 1966, pp. 4-5.)
